Kickers Sign Russell and Pascale

RICHMOND, Va. - The Richmond Kickers are pleased to announce the signings of defender Shaun Russell and goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale for the remainder of the 2018 USL season. Both players will be available for selection this Saturday night as the Kickers host Ottawa Fury FC at City Stadium.

Russell comes to the Kickers after spending the 2016 season at the New York Cosmos B in the NPSL, where he made ten appearances and scoring one goal. He spent four seasons at Saint Francis University, where he would play in 71 matches and recorded three assists throughout his collegiate career.

A long-time veteran of the Kickers, Pascale returns to the club where he made a club-record 304 appearances over 13 seasons in Richmond between 2000-12. The North Salem, N.Y. native also leads the club with 97 shutouts.

The Kickers are back in action Saturday night to host Ottawa Fury FC at 7:00 p.m. at City Stadium. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. when the gates open for Oktoberfest, with authentic German oompah music by The Sauerkrauts, a stein-hoisting competition and seasonal craft beers on tap.
