Frederick Keys News Release

Frederick, MD - The Frederick Keys are helping local foster families by allowing fans to receive a two dollar ticket discount when donating a toiletry item for the Keys 2 PM game on Saturday, April 7th.

Frederick County Department of Social Services, Frederick County Foster and Adoptive Parents Association, and the Frederick Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta have joined into a special partnership with the Keys that will bring essential toiletry items to local foster homes.

Diapers, baby blankets, combs, wipes, and travel-sized toiletries are among the items needed the most by the foster families in need.

The Keys will be accepting all toiletry donations at the front of the stadium. Fans will be given a voucher they can turn in to the box office to receive their discount.

The special event coincides with Hockey Day, an event at the ballpark which will feature NHL Hall of Famer and former Washington Capital Rod Langway, along with the Caps' Red Rockers cheerleaders and SlapShot mascot.

For Hockey Day, fans can receive a two dollar discount by wearing a hockey jersey. Only one discount per person can apply.

For more information in regards to the Keys' special discount, fans can contact Assistant General Manager Adam Pohl at 301-815-9917 or by email at apohl@frederickkeys.com.
