Waco Wranglers News Release

WACO, Texas-The Waco Wranglers will hold a press conference to sign Kevin Winn Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Murray Watson Jr. Student Recreation Center at Texas State Technical College Waco. Winn will be the sixth player signed by the Wranglers.

The 6-foot-3 combination guard and forward played for Southwest Missouri State where he was named to the All Tournament team and voted Defense Player of the Conference in 1997. He then transferred to Southern Mississippi where he was also named to the All Tournament team. Winn also played for Dallas Diesel, a semi-professional basketball team in Dallas. "We're going to be really good," Winn said. "We gel as a team and I'm really confident that we might make it all the way." "K Winn is a fantastic small forward but has the strength and ability to play power forward as well," Coach Toni said. "He will be a huge asset to our team."
