Quad City Steamwheelers News Release

(Moline, Ill.) - The Quad City Steamwheelers announced today that the arenafootball2 league has assigned DB Kevin Adams, OL/DL Ryan Bell, LB Adam Jordison and DB Fletcher Terrell to the team.

"I'm very excited to have Kevin Adams back," said Head Coach Troy Biladeau. "He is a great player and will bring a lot to our organization. We are disappointed that it did not work out in the AFL for him, as he is a player that belongs at that level, but are glad he choose to come back to play for us."

Adams rejoins the 'Wheelers after spending time with the AFL's Utah Blaze. While with the Blaze, Adams tallied a total of 21.5 tackles. In 2007, Adams was ranked seventh in the af2 in total tackles (95.5). He also led the Steamwheelers in solo tackles (79), interceptions (8) and pass break-ups (19). The Las Vegas, Nev., native also finished the year with two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Jordison was invited to training camp during the pre-season and was one of the team's final cuts. He currently coaches football at Saint Ambrose and attended Coe College. The Van Meter, Iowa native earned numerous awards at Coe including All-American honors, Don Hansen's All-West Region team and was named All-Conference two times. Additionally, he holds the IIAC record for sacks in a game with six, while breaking school records in tackles for a loss, sacks in a game, sacks in a season and sacks in a career.

The Steamwheelers also added DB Fletcher Terrell and former 'Wheelers Ryan Bell to the squad. Both players were immediately placed on the refused to report list. In other roster moves, Sean Kennedy and Lavar Stepter have been added to the injured reserve list.
