
Kernels Game with Peoria Rescheduled for May 12th in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels game with the Peoria Chiefs that was postponed on April 24th will be made up in Cedar Rapids on Monday, May 12th as part of a doubleheader, consisting of two 7-inning games, beginning at 5:05 pm.
The games are being made up in Cedar Rapids because the Kernels do not play the Chiefs at Dozer Field in Peoria again in the first half of the 2014 MWL season. The Kernels will be the home team for both of the 7-inning games and the gates open at 4:00 pm.
The Kernels continue a seven game road trip today at 2:00 pm at Clinton. The Kernels return to Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Monday, April 28th and open a seven game home stand with games against Kane County and Peoria.
