
Dragons Amaral Promoted to Double-A

DAYTON, OHIO-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster changes today:
Outfielder Beau Amaral has been promoted from Dayton to Pensacola (Double-A, Southern League).
Humberto Valor has been promoted to Dayton from the Reds extended spring training camp in Goodyear, Arizona.
The Dragons roster remains at the Midwest League limit of 25 players.
A new roster is attached.
Amaral appeared in 17 games with the Dragons, batting .329 with one home run, 11 runs batted in, and nine stolen bases.
Valor has not played in a game this season. He appeared in 42 games for the Dragons last season, batting .179 with two home runs and 12 RBI.
The Dragons continue a seven-game road trip tonight at Great Lakes at 6:05 p.m. (EDT).
