
Keene Swamp Bats Add Two to All Star Team

The Keene Swamp Bats will be sending two members of this season's squad to the 2015 All-Star game in Sanford, Maine. Infielder Garrett Christman and pitcher Zach Willeman will be representing Keene on July 19th.
Garrett Christman, from Noblesville, Indiana and a sophomore at Butler University leads Keene with a .314 average to go along with 13 RBI's and two homeruns on the season. Christman has played multiple positions this season for the Swamp Bats, primarily roaming the positions of third base and shortstop and will be the reserve third baseman at this seasons all-star game.
Zach Willeman, the right-handed pitcher from Kent State University and hometown of Napoleon, Ohio is also representing Keene at the all-star game this season. Willeman has mainly been the closer this season for the Swamp Bats, appearing in 11 games and posting a 0.96 ERA with 29 strikeouts through 18.2 innings pitched. Willeman also has four saves on the year and continues to dazzle for Keene as they move him towards a starters role in the rotation.
