
Kansas City Comets Trade Andre Braithwaite

KANSAS CITY - The Kansas City Comets announced today an agreement with Utica City FC for the rights to Andre Braithwaite in exchange for financial considerations. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Braithwaite first joined the Comets before the 2013-2014 season. He made 52 appearances for Kansas City, including six playoff games. He scored 34 goals and 5 assists in his Kansas City career.
"I appreciate what Andre has done for us and the way he came back last season," said head coach Kim Roentved. "We wish him the best of luck in Utica."
The Comets begin their official preseason camp on November 5 as the team prepares for the ninth season of Hot Winter Nights at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.
Independence, Missouri residents may purchase single-game tickets through October 31 at 5:00 p.m. CT at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena box office. Single-game tickets will be available online and at the box office on November 1.
