
Utica City FC Acquires Andre Braithwaite

Utica, N.Y. - Utica City FC announced today that the club has signed forward Andre Braithwaite for the upcoming 2018-19 season. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
The 27-year old forward comes to Utica via a trade with the Kansas City Comets where he has played since the 2013-14 season. He played in 17 games last season with Kansas City, finding the back of the net on 9 occasions and coming up with 3 assists.
The 6' 2'', 190lb target man from Kingston, Jamaica, played for Newman University in Wichita, Kansas prior to having an immediate impact (scoring 18 goals with 7 assists) in his first season at the professional level in the MASL.
"Andre is a big strong physical target who is very effective with his back to goal and when taking players on in a one v one situation," said Utica City FC Head Coach Ryan Hall. "We are very excited and looking forward to working with Andre this season."
