Kalamazoo To Simulcast Gwinnett And Charlotte Broadcasts

Kalamazoo , MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce the organization will simulcast this weekends broadcast of K-Wings hockey against the Gwinnett Gladiators and Charlotte Checkers.

Broadcaster Mike Modugno did not travel with the team so he can continue to be with his wife near the final days of her pregnancy.

The K-Wings will air both broadcast on 95.9 FM WLKM and on the B-2 Network. Handling the play-by-play duties on Saturday, November 7th will be Dustin Bixby, the voice of the Gladiators. On Sunday, November 8th, Jason Shaya, the voice of the Checkers will broadcast the contest.

Despite the simulcast, fans will be able to tune to WLKM to hear the thoughts of head coach Nick Bootland and the players during the Kalsee Credit Union Pre-Game Show and Auto-Owners Insurance Intermission Report.

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium Friday, November 13th with a 7:30 p.m. encounter versus the Cincinnati Cyclones. The game on November 13th will also be the K-Wings first Frugal Fan Friday, which features $1 beer and $1 hot dogs.

Single-game tickets for any regular season home game are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
