Kalamazoo Loans Forward Trent Daavettila to the Adirondack

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce forward Trent Daavettila has been loaned to the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.

Averaging over a point-a-night, Daavettila has 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 25 games with Kalamazoo.

This will be the second time this season Daavettila has been loaned to Adirondack and his third overall time heading the AHL (Grand Rapids).

This off-season, Daavettila participated in the rookie camp of the NHL's New York Rangers and started the season in the training camp of the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL.

Daavettila becomes 18th member of the K-Wings this season to head in the AHL.

The K-Wings will return to Wings Stadium today with a 4 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye on Charter Day. The first 1,000 kids (12 and under) will receive a pair of Thundersticks courtesy of Charter Media. Sunday's game will also feature a post-game skate with the players.

For an additional $10 fans can upgrade their tickets to make them all-you-can-eat seats, featuring hot dogs, nachos and popcorn.
