Dog Days Of Winter Today Against Nailers

North Charleston, SC -The South Carolina Stingrays celebrate the Dog Days of Winter today against the Wheeling Nailers at 4:00 p.m. at North Charleston Coliseum. Today is the third of six scheduled meetings between the two teams this season. The Stingrays are currently on a five-game winning streak, their second longest of the season.

Come out and celebrate the Dog Days of Winter where fans can bring their dogs to the game. Dog tickets are $5 dollars with all the proceeds going towards Pet Helpers Animal Shelter. Join the Stingrays on Sunday for Kid's Day featuring $5 kid's tickets and a pregame kid's carnival. It is also Adopt-a-Dog Sunday with Camp Bow Wow. Be sure to stop by their table on the main concourse to see the Adoptable Dog of the Night. Stick around after the game for Skate with the Rays with your favorite Stingrays players.

Note of the Night: A night after tying an ECHL record for the most players (15) to score a point in a single game, the Stingrays set a new team single-game attendance record of 10,570 against the Reading Royals on Pack the House Night. The Stingrays skated away with a 5-3 victory.

Going Streaking Stingrays forward Trent Campbell is currently on an 11-game point streak scoring five goals and 13 assists for 18 points. Campbell's current streak is tied for first in the ECHL behind former Stingrays forward Matt Fornataro and ranks third overall.

High-Flying Rookie Stingrays rookie Trevor Bruess is on three-game point streak with four goals and four assists and on a two-game assist streak (4a).
