FRASER,MI-The Kalamazoo Wings knock off the Mechanics tonight by a 3-1 score and win their 5th game of the year against the Mechanics tonight at the Great Lakes Sports City.
Mark Vilneff started the scoring for the Wings when a shot from the point beat a screened Rod Branch. The Mechanics would tie the game in the second off of a Kris Vernarsky shot from the slot.
The Wings then netted two third period goals to take the game 3-1.
Rod Branch made his 38th straight start and made 36 saves in defeat.
