Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce the organization has released goaltender Ryan Gregory.
Concluding their fourth day of training camp, Kalamazoo's current training camp roster now consists of 28 players.
After continuing their morning training camp routine on tomorrow, Friday, October 8th, the K-Wings will get their first taste of preseason game action later that night with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at Wings Stadium versus the Toledo Walleye. Tickets for that preseason are just $5. Plus, all fans that are in attendance for the K-Wings only home preseason contest will receive one FREE bag of popcorn.
The K-Wings and Walleye will meet again on Saturday, October 9th for a 6 p.m. encounter at the Huntington Center in Toledo at 6 p.m.
Fans that can't make it to either preseason game, can still listen to both contests on the radio or on line. Both preseason clashes can be heard live at 95.9 WLKM or at kwings.com starting 15 minutes prior to face-off.
The K-Wings will begin the regular season on the road with a battle against the Walleye on October 22nd at 6 p.m.
Kalamazoo will open up the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 23rd versus the defending Kelly Cup champion's, the Cincinnati Cyclones, with a 7:30 p.m. face-off at Wings Stadium during the 7th annual Orange Ice game featuring a Miller Lite indoor pre-game tailgate party with live music from the very popular Bronk Bros. Band and Orange Ice game and the raising of the 2009-10 North Division banner.
Season tickets for the upcoming 2010-2011 season are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, please call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
Tickets for all K-Wings home games are on sale now and range in price from $9.90-$14.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more.
Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single game tickets advance because on the day of a game, K-Wings tickets are $1 more.
