Fans Can Get Autographs from Slappy While Shopping at Local Superstore

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce that the Harold Zeigler Auto Group's K-Wings Karavan and Slappy will be at two Meijer locations this Saturday, May 17th.

The Karavan will visit the Gull Road store from 11:00am-1:00pm. From there the K-Wings Karavan and the UHL's Favorite Mascot will head to Meijer's West Main location from 1:30-3:00p.m.

Kids will get to visit with the K-Wings zany mascot, Slappy, who will be signing autographs at both locations. Along with Slappy, the Comstock School band will provide the tunes for Saturday's festivities. Also, in attendance will be many of our area Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

The K-Wings Karavan is a Dodge Caravan provided by the Harold Zeigler Auto Group designed to promote the K-Wings, the sport of hockey, as well as family fun. The Kalamazoo Wings will be cruising Western Michigan this summer promoting the sport of hockey and encouraging fans to "Get into the Game."
