Kinston Indians News Release
Winner's of seven of their last eight and three straight series. Kinston goes for the sweep of Potomac tonight in Woodbridge, VA. The K-Tribe is now four games out of first place in the Carolina League Southern Division. The Indians start a seven game homestand Thursday night in Kinston.
Let's Go Streaking! - Kinston outfielder Tyler Holt is riding a 24 game consecutive on-base streak, the longest in the Carolina League this year. The streak started on April 27th. Within the on-base streak Holt has a five game and a ten game hit streak. Holt still has a long way to go to catch former K-Triber's Tim Federoff's 35 game consecutive on base streak which spanned nearly two months in 2009.
