Kinston Indians News Release
2008 K-Triber Josh Tomlin will make his Major League debut tonight for Cleveland. Josh is the 14th former K-Triber to play for Cleveland this year. He is the sixth member of the 2008 K-Tribe team to make his Major League debut joining Carlos Santana, Jeanmar Gomez, Frank Herrmann, Luis Perdomo (09-San Diego) and Niuman Romero(09-Cleveland, 10-Boston).
Kinston to the Bigs - Right-handed pitcher Josh Tomlin will start for Cleveland tonight against the Yankees in his Major League debut. He pitched for Kinston in parts of 2007 and 2008. In 2008, Tomlin was 9-5 with a 2.98 ERA for the K-Tribe. He was called up from Triple-A Columbus where he was 8-4 with a 2.68 ERA.
