Kinston Indians News Release
The Carolina League leader in wins T.J. McFarland will be on the mound as Kinston continues the homestand with a four game series with Wilmington tonight at Historic Grainger Stadium. Game time 7pm for a Thirsty Thursday.
Back On Track?- Kinston snapped a four game skid and a three straight series loss streak with back-to-back wins over Winston-Salem on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday was a 4-2 (7) rain shortened victory, followed quickly by an 11 am 5-1, 14 hit win. Kinston is 6-4 against Winston at Historic Grainger Stadium and 0-7 against the Dash at BB&T Ballpark.
Home Sweet Home- After a 1-6 road trip last week pushed Kinston's away record to 17-30 this season, Kinston got the home cooking going again by taking 2 of 3 games from Winston-Salem. Kinston is now 29-18 at home this season.
