Delmarva Shorebirds News Release
KANNAPOLIS, NC - Due to storm threats and continuing rain, Thursday night's Delmarva Shorebirds-Kannapolis Intimidators doubleheader has been postponed.
The games will be made up at a later date. The Shorebirds visit Kannapolis again before the end of the first half, a four-day series from June 11-14.
Delmarva now heads for the second leg of its road trip in Charleston against the RiverDogs. Matthias Dietz (5-1, 2.74) will start Friday night's opener for the Shorebirds against the RiverDogs' Alexander Vargas (2-1, 6.00). 7:05 p.m., and pregame coverage on Fox Sports 960 AM and the MiLB First Pitch app begins at 6:50 with Will DeBoer on the call.
