
K-Mets crush Bristol

Kingsport Axmen News Release
The KMets erupted for 18 runs and 19 hits as they crushed the Bristol White Sox by the score of 18-4 in front of a home crowd of 1,102 on Friday night.
For the second consecutive game Nick Evans hit 2 home runs to lead the offensive attack. Sean Henry added a grand slam home run while Elvis Cruz, Joan Martinez, and Yuri Santana had 2 hits apiece. Jose Luis Gonzalez pitched 5 innings of 2 hit shut-out baseball to record the win.
The two teams will meet again on Saturday night. ALS will be having their annual picnic while Knoxville TVA Credit Union will be sponsoring a fireworks show after the game.
