Montreal vs. Lewiston All-Time:
- In 5 games played, Montreal has a 3-1-0-1 record all-time vs. Lewiston.
- Tonight's meeting marks only the second trip to Maine in the two year history of the Juniors. They dropped their only visit to the Pine Tree State in a shootout, 3-2 on January 24, 2009.
- When the franchise was based in St. John's, the Fog Devils held a 9-12-0-1 record against the MAINEiacs in 22 meetings over three seasons.
- Before closing shop in Newfoundland, the team finished with a positive 5-4-0-1 mark at home, while fell below.500 with a 4-8 record when visiting the Androscoggin Bank Colisée.
- Although the Juniors are used to playing many back-to-back games against opponents, the franchise has twice played the MAINEiacs on three straight occasions. From January 9 - 12, 2007 and September 23 - 27, 2005, the then Fog Devils played three games in a row against Lewiston, both series' game at home and St. John's finished with a 2-1 and 1-2 mark respectively.
Tonight's Key Matchup:
- In the chase for the playoffs, Montreal's Jérémy Gouchie has caught on fire, however, over in the Telus Central Division, Lewiston's Pierre-Olivier Morin has kept his team going too.
- Both players have not only put up similar numbers, but equal each other physically as well. Gouchie stands at a feisty 5"11 and 183 lbs while he is matched by Morin, who is a tad taller, but a bit lighter at 6"0 and 170 lbs.

Juniors All-Time:
- Tonight's game is the 127th in the history of the Montréal Juniors. To date, the franchise has a 61-65 record.
Scoring 20:
- This season, rookie Trevor Parkes, veterans Jérémy Gouchie and Nicolas Chouinard all cracked the 20 goal plateau, making them respectively the 4th, 5th and 6th players in Juniors history to reach that milestone.
- Chouinard was the latest Juinor to achieve the feat with his 20th coming at home against Gatineau (2/21/2010). Oddly enough for Parkes and Gouchie, both milestone goals came against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Parkes hit the mark on the road (1/28/2010) while Gouchie followed at home (2/14/2010).
- With 9 games to go, one more Junior is on the cusp of the 20 goal plateau: Guillaume Asselin (18).
Ascending the Charts:
- As a rookie in 2008-09, right wing Guillaume Asselin turned heads by finishing the season with 18 goals and 19 assists in 63 games.
- In his sophomore campaign, Asselin is showing clear signs of growth as with 58 games under his belt, he's totaled 18 goals and 19 assists.
- Asselin won the QMJHL's Offensive Player of the Week award for his 7 point performance from September 30th to October 4th. He became the first Montreal Junior to win the award this season, and the second since Angelo Esposito in October 2008.
First Impressions:
- It did not take long for rookie Trevor Parkes to prove that he belongs in the Q. After 58 games, he leads Montreal in goals with 25, including a team-high 7 on the power play.
- Amongst rookies, Parkes ranks second in goals, while his 39 overall points place him ninth in scoring, fourth amongst right wings.
