Jungle Kats Announce 2007 Schedule

Cincinnati Jungle Kats News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Jungle Kats of af2, have announced their 2007 schedule. The Jungle Kats will play their 16-game schedule from late March to the end of July. The playoffs for af2 begin in August. Cincinnati will be members of the American Conference, Midwest Division. Joining the Jungle Kats in the division are the teams from Fort Wayne, Green Bay, Louisville and Quad City. Cincinnati will open the season on Saturday, March 31 with a 7:30pm tilt with Quad City, at U.S. Bank Arena.
Following the home opener welcoming Arena Football back to Cincinnati, the Jungle Kats have a bye week and then hit the road for three weeks. After spending April on the road, the squad returns to U.S. Bank Arena for back-to-back home games May 5 and 12, versus Fort Wayne and Tennessee Valley, respectively. After a trip to divisional opponent, Green Bay, the Jungle Kats get another back-to-back dose in home games against Birmingham (May 26) and Mahoning Valley (June 2). The other home games are against Louisville (Jun 23), Manchester (July 7) and Green Bay (July 14).
"We are very excited to begin our first season," Jungle Kats principal owner Sam Adams said. "This is a challenging schedule and there will be a lot of work to be done between now and the start of the season. The Jungle Kats will be ready to prowl when Quad City comes into our jungle on March 31."
Numerous promotions will highlight the schedule, including Scout Night, Heroes Night, Armed Forces Night, Little League Night, Faith Night, Education Night and Family Night. Full details and assignment of those promotional dates will come later. The team is also planning a 'Select Your Seat Night' for Tuesday, December 5th at U.S. Bank Arena. Full details on that program will be coming in the days ahead.
