JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The 2018 Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp season presented by Community First Credit Union opens with a homestand Wednesday, April 11, through Sunday, April 15. The Jumbo Shrimp host the Mobile BayBears, Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, for a five-game series with a promotional lineup including the following highlights:
Wednesday, April 11, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
Opening Day presented by Firehouse Subs: Among the pregame festivities, Naval Station Mayport will present the colors; Bette Bolivar, Commander, Navy Region Southeast will throw a ceremonial first pitch; and JJ Grey will sing the national anthem. The Jumbo Shrimp's game-used home white jerseys will be auctioned online at www.jaxshrimp.com. Following the game is the first of the season's 21 fireworks shows.
Magnet Schedule Giveaway: The first 5,000 fans receive the 2018 Jumbo Shrimp magnet schedule.
Thursday, April 12, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
Budweiser Thirsty Thursday: Fans can purchase $1 12-oz. and $2 24-oz. beers adjacent to the Budweiser Tiki Terrace, on the left-field berm, along the right-field bleachers, and at the Oasis concession stand behind section 115. $1 small sodas are sold at the concession stands.

Friday, April 13, 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)
NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks: Fans may visit any participating NAPA AutoCare Center to get a FREE general admission ticket (reserved seat upgrade available at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville box office) for the Friday night game. At every Friday home game, the Jumbo Shrimp have postgame NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks!
Red Shirt Friday: Fans are encouraged to wear red to support the military and save $1 per ticket at the box office, or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Jumbo Shrimp are wearing red "Bold City" jerseys for every Friday home game this season.
Friday Night Lites Miller Lite Happy Hour: Miller Lite $1 12-oz. beers and $1 off craft beer specials are available in the Craft Cave near the third-base gate from gates opening until 7:30 p.m. at every Friday home game.

Sunday, April 15, 3:05 p.m. (Gates open at 2 p.m.)
Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday, presented by Baptist Beaches: Kids can feel like the pros before each Sunday home game, as families can play catch on the field, beginning at 2 p.m. A Jumbo Shrimp player autograph booth will be open before the game. Free face painting, balloon animals, and kids crafts activities will be available in the Wolfson Children's Hospital Kids Zone. Following the game, kids 12 and under can run the bases.
Minions Day: Minions characters will be roaming the ballpark, greeting Jumbo Shrimp fans.
Making Strides for Autism Sensory Tent: Making Strides for Autism, Inc., will have a sensory tent in the Legends of Jacksonville Baseball Wall of Fame hall (street-level, third-base side of the stadium), provided at no cost to ballpark guests.
