With their 2nd Round Selection (89th Overall) of the 2021 CHL Import Draft, the Soo Greyhounds selected forward JULIAN LUTZ from Red Bull Akademie Juniors.
The 17-year old native of Germany stands 6.02 while weighing 179 lbs.
This past season with the RB Hockey Juniors he appeared in 31 regular season games while recording 13 goals and 13 assists, good for 26 points.
He also appeared with RB Hockey Academy U18 in four games (2 assists) and EC Salzburg of the ICEHL league for 7 games (2 goals, 1 assists)
On the International stage, Julian represented his home country at the U18 World Championship where he had an assist in 4 games played.
