Akron RubberDucks News Release

The Aeros made a pair of roster moves today, activating RHP Josh Judy from the disabled list and promoting IF Niuman Romero to Class AAA Columbus.

Judy has not pitched since May 17th at Altoona and was sidelined with a strained right forearm. In seven relief outings for Akron this year the native of Morgantown, WV is 0-1 with two saves and a 7.00 ERA.

Romero had been a constant in the Aeros lineup this year, batting .211 with no homers and eight RBI while playing 37 games and appearing at three different positions (third base, shortstop, second base) and designated hitter.

Akron's active roster remains at 23 players, one under the league limit.
