
Jr. Blues Split Weekend with Topeka

The Jr. Blues get the win over the Topeka Roadrunners by the score of 3-0 to split the weekend.
The Jr. Blues jumped out to the lead by scoring two goals in the first period. The first, was scored by Matt Long off assists from Kyle Meeh and Brennan Blaszczak at the 11:45 mark. The second, was scored by Coale Norris off an assist from Drew Richter at the 12:20 mark. Hunter Schneider added a goal in the second period off an assist from Brady Tomlak to extend the lead to 3-0. Bothe teams were held scoreless in the third to keep 3-0 as the final score.
Niko Della Maggiore earned the shutout tonight with 29 saves.
The Jr. Blues will take a little break for the holidays until they play on the road against the Minnesota Magicians on January 2nd and 3rd.
