Jordi Alba Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

Inter Miami CF defender Jordi Alba has been named as a starter in the Team of the Matchday for Matchday 4 of the 2024 MLS season. The talented defender earned this recognition after his standout performance against CF Montréal on Sunday, March 10 in which he scored the second goal for Inter Miami with an assist from his longtime teammate, Sergio Busquets, and finished the match with a 89% pass accuracy with 58 completed passes.
Alba started the game and played the full 90 minutes, leading the squad dressed in pink and black with calculated and precise moves. He was a crucial part of the team's performance; notably, the Spanish defender graced the pitch with an effortless and powerful volleyed goal in the 80th minute.
After joining Inter Miami in August 2023, the international star has become a regular on the field for the team, making 17 total appearances, tallying three goals and three assists.
Alba's selection marks the seventh representative for Inter Miami on the MLS Team of the Matchday through the first four matchdays of the 2024 MLS season.
