KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (August 15, 2015) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have activated outfielder Hunter Jones off the disabled list. He will start today's game against the Hagerstown Suns in centerfield. In a corresponding move, the Intimidators have transferred outfielder Louis Silverio to the Advanced Rookie Great Falls Voyagers.

Jones, 23, has appeared in 23 games for Kannapolis, batting .253 (21-83) with two doubles, six RBI, eight stolen bases, and 13 runs scored. The outfielder spent the last week with the Rookie level Arizona League White Sox, appearing in seven games and batting .226 (7-31) with a triple, an RBI, seven stolen bases, and six runs scored. Jones returns to the Intimidators roster after his third stretch on the disabled list this season.

Silverio, 21, has appeared in 17 games over two stints with Kannapolis, batting .185 (10-54) with two doubles, three RBI, and five runs scored. The outfielder has also spent time this season with the Arizona League White Sox and the Advanced Rookie Great Falls Voyagers. He is batting .242 (22-91) with five doubles, three home runs, and 14 RBI in 28 total games between three classifications this season. The White Sox selected Silverio in the 33rd round of the June 2014 First-Year Player Draft out of Florida International.

The Intimidators host the Suns (A, Nationals) tonight at 7:05 p.m. at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System featuring a post-game fireworks show presented by the Springhill Suites of Concord. The first 1,000 fans will receive sunglasses courtesy of the Town of Harrisburg.
