Jonathan Nance Returns to Tulsa

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, a proud member of the IFL and powered by Community Care, sees the return of key wide receiver Jonathan Nance to the roster for 2024.

Nance, signed with Tulsa last season in May of 2023, prior to Week Nine of the inaugural season. The mid-campaign addition tallied 11 receiving touchdowns on 38 catches for a total of 396 yards in nine games. The returning offensive piece also compiled 527 return yards off kickoffs on 27 attempts, grabbing one touchdown return in the process.

The familiar face in Green Country entered his time with Tulsa having plenty of SEC college football experience. The Perkinston, Mississippi native finished the final season of his college career with the University of Missouri, leading all Tigers by recording 458 receiving yards on 31 catches (14.8 avg.) with four touchdowns.

Prior to his time at Mizzou, the former Tiger played for the University of Arkansas, seeing time in 11 games while starting in six. The Oilers WR compiled 539 yards on 37 receptions (14.6 avg.) and five touchdowns. The former Razorback began his college career at Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Tulsa will see its second season begin on the road against the Frisco Fighters on March 22, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. CST. The Oilers will open their home schedule facing the Iowa Barnstormers at the BOK Center on April 6, at 7:05 p.m. CST.
