Daytona Tortugas News Release
Due to inclement weather and unplayable field conditions, Saturday evening's contest between the Daytona Tortugas and Jupiter Hammerheads at Jackie Robinson Ballpark has been suspended.
As a result, the contest will be picked up as a part of a doubleheader on Sunday, August 15, with the first pitch of the resumption slated for 2:30 p.m. Sunday's game resumption will complete its originally scheduled nine innings.
The gates are slated to open at 1:30 p.m., one hour before the first pitch. Fans with tickets to Saturday's suspended game may redeem them at the Tortugas' box office for any ticket to a Tortugas home game throughout the remainder of the 2021 regular season of equal or lesser value. Patrons may also redeem their tickets by calling the 'Tugas at (386) 257-3172.
Sunday's promotions include Bark in the Park and Tiny 'Tugas Night. For just $2, fans can purchase a "pooch pass" so their four-legged friend can enjoy a nine-inning vacation, as well. Additionally, there will be a "Kids Catch on the Field" after game two concludes. It will also be the Tortugas' Yappy Hours with 16 oz. Bud Light Seltzer and Michelob Ultra Organic Seltzer cans on sale for $4.
Season tickets, multi-game plans, group packages, and more are currently available and can be purchased online at www.daytonatortugas.com or by calling the Tortugas' Ticket Office at (386) 257-3172.
