Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO - May 7, 2015 - Orlando City Soccer Club returns to the Orlando Citrus Bowl after an MLS bye week on Friday, May 8, to face the Eastern Conference champions, the New England Revolution. City fans are encouraged to support the team 'for love of club and country' and join in on #PurpleFriday - a gameday celebration with happy hour in three downtown locations with convenient transportation to the stadium.
"With every game we play together, we keep getting closer as a team and this is very important for a young team and Club," said Orlando City Team Captain Kaká. "Last weekend felt good. Being able to score three goals and win the game after being down from an early goal and coming back. It was pure excitement, and the best part-- it was in front of our fans. We are excited to put this milestone behind us, and play the soccer we love in the environment that we love."
Happy Hour is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Harry Buffalo, Elixir and Wall Street Plaza. There will be specials of 2 for 1 Heineken and Bacardi drinks. With kick off set for 8 p.m., shuttles will be available from downtown to the stadium. For transportation information, visit http://www.orlandocitysc.com/gameday/transportation.
Businesses are encouraged to let their employees out of work a little early. To purchase season, group or individual tickets, visit www.OrlandoCitySC.com or call 855-ORL-CITY. Also, follow the latest Orlando City news and updates via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
