Kitchener Rangers News Release
Get your friends and family together on Sunday, June 5th at Waterloo Park for a healthy, active day and help the Kitchener Rangers at the Manulife Bike & Hike for Heart raise $200,000 for St. Mary's Regional Cardiac Care Centre.
This year, former Kitchener Rangers's team captain, Dan Kelly will lead the bikers and hikers in a morning of fun and entertainment. Come out to support Dan and his former Rangers teammates.
Everyone who participates can enjoy entertainment by children's entertainers "Terri and Rick", and a delicious M&M Meatshops lunch. The Rangers will be on-site with the Street Team to cheer you on and help you and your family get fit and have fun!
We're so fortunate to have this world-class centre right here in our community! Care that's close to home makes a world of difference to cardiac patients and their families, eliminating the stress of long-distance travel for treatment in Toronto, Hamilton or London.
Whether you register as a corporate team, a family team or on your own, you can choose to hike 3km or 5km and bike 5km or 15km and feel great that you're contributing to the health of our community. There are also lots of volunteer opportunities available as well. For more information visit www.bikeandhike.ca.
