
Join The Connecticut Sun As It Attempts To Break A World Record

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (September 5, 2008) - The Connecticut Sun will be giving yo-yos to all fans on Sunday, September 7th as part of Kids Day, and is also setting out to break the Guinness World Record⢠at the same time. All fans are encouraged to stay following the game to help the Sun break the record for the greatest number of people to yo-yo at the same time.
Join the Sun to celebrate Kids Day, where everyone is a kid as they take on the San Antonio Silver Stars at 1 p.m. Following the end of the game, all fans can stay in the arena and help make history as the Sun break the Guinness World Recordâ¢.
"We are very excited to be attempting to break the world record," Sun marketing director Gwendolyn Pointer said. "This will be a unique opportunity for all of our fans to do something together and we encourage everyone to stay and yo-yo with us."
The first team to qualify for the playoffs in 2008, tickets for the remaining Sun home games are still available and can be purchased on www.ticketmaster.com or in person at the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Playoff tickets will be available for purchase at 10 a.m. on Sept. 8th.
