Bell Let's Talk Day
Today, January 25, is Bell Let's Talk Day. Bell Let's Talk is one of the biggest mental health advocates in North America and use today to raise funds and awareness to combat the stigma surrounding mental illness.
On Friday, January 13, the Tomahawks wore blue warmup jerseys to support the cause. The jerseys were auctioned off and over $1300 was raised for local mental health organizations in Johnstown.
Johnstown Tomahawks Foundation Scholarships
The Johnstown Tomahawks Foundation will be awarding two, $1,000 scholarships to a local high school and college student within Cambria, Somerset, Indiana, Westmoreland, Bedford and Blair counties. Visit cfalleghenies.org/scholarships to apply for these opportunities.
Upcoming Games
The Tomahawks are on the road this weekend to face off against the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks.
Games are Friday, January 27 at 7 PM and Saturday, January 28 at 3 PM. Both games will be broadcasted live on HockeyTV.
