The Aberdeen Wings, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are proud to announce that Devon Carlstrom has committed to continue his education and hockey career at Division I Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
Carlstrom, a 6'1 ¬Â³ 185 lb. defenseman from Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is currently in his third season with the Wings. So far this season, he has three goals and twelve assists in 36 games played. Over the course of his career in Aberdeen, he's notched eight goals and added 29 assists in 132 regular season games, plus two more assists in nine playoff games.
"Devon has utilized his multiple years of junior hockey to develop into a solid Division I defenseman," Wings head coach Scott Langer said. "He is a leader that will help a new program build a solid culture."
While the hockey program at Stonehill has been around since 1978, the school moved their programs to Division I in April 2022.
"I am proud and excited to announce my commitment to play Division I hockey at Stonehill College," Carlstrom said. "I want to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates for helping me along the way. I am excited to be a part of the Stonehill hockey program as they enter their first full season in D1."
