Staten Island, N.Y. - Saturday night was one to remember in Staten Island. Johnny Rizer became the third IronBird in franchise history to hit for the Cycle in an 11-0 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Rizer, the Orioles' 7th round pick out of TCU, started the game off with a solo homer in the 1st inning and made it 1-0.
He was a part of a four run 4th inning with an RBI single to take a 7-0 lead.
In the 6th, he smacked a double and scored the IronBirds 8th run
As the second batter of the 8th inning, Rizer punched a triple to right center and became the third IronBird ever to hit for the cycle.
