John Berner Suffers Achilles Injury

Memphis, Tenn. - Memphis 901 FC goalkeeper John Berner suffered a ruptured right Achilles in last night's win against Atlanta United 2. Berner will undergo surgery tomorrow morning and will remain out indefinitely.

Berner had started every minute of the season up until his injury and claimed two clean sheets in six appearances. The St. Louis-native sits at third in the current USL Championship rankings and second in Memphis 901 FC history with 27 saves on the year.
