Job Fair Thursday, Fan Fest on Opening Day

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Great Lakes Loons food & beverage staff will be hosting a job fair at Dow Diamond on March 22 from 1-5 p.m. in the Chemical Bank Great Lakes Reserve lobby. Members of the staff will be present to meet and talk with interested candidates looking for seasonal work during the 2018 season.

The following opportunities are available and can be applied for at the event: Bartender, Cashier, Cash Room Associate, Cook, In-Seat Vendor, Runner, Server, Stand Supervisor.

Potential food/beverage candidates are asked to bring an updated resume, their driver's license, social security card and banking information with them to the job fair. A full listing of employment opportunities is available at Loons.com.

FAN FEST TO BE HELD ON OPENING DAY

The Loons will kick off their 12th season of baseball in Midland on Thursday, April 5th, against the Lansing Lugnuts. Fans are invited to celebrate Opening Day with Fan Fest! Gates will open two hours before the scheduled 6:05 p.m. first pitch with the entire concourse packed with activities.

Concessions will be open serving all the ballpark favorites, including $1 hot dogs, 16oz Pepsi products, Better Made chips and ice cream sandwiches as part of $1 Family Feast Night presented by Chemical Bank. Fans can also take advantage of Opening Day Happy Hour specials with $2.50 domestic draft beers from 4-6 p.m.

Inflatables and other activities will be set up inside the stadium for kids of all ages to participate in; players from the 2018 roster will be signing autographs from 4-5 p.m.; live music will be performed at the ballpark prior to the start of the game.

TEAM MEET AND GREET SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 3RD

All members of the Chemical Bank Founders Club are invited to the annual Team Meet and Greet held in the Great Lakes Reserve on Tuesday, April 5th at 6 p.m. Fans can interact with the players and coaching staff, plus hear comments from returning manager John Shoemaker. Fans can join the founders club by purchasing any of the Loons full-season, half-season or mini-plan ticket packages.

The Great Lakes Loons have been the Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers since the team's inception in 2007.
