Madison Mallards News Release

Madison, WI - July 14, 2012. Nine-year Mallards fan JJ Streicher-Bremer walked through the gates at the "Duck Pond" tonight and became the Mallards 2,000,000th Fan. Streicher-Bremer, from Madison is 44 years old, is married and has three children, all boys. "It feel awesome to be a normal fan of the Mallards," said Streicher-Bremer. "But to be the 2,000,000th fan; that takes it to a whole new level." By becoming the Mallards 2,000,000th Fan the Mallards have awarded him with plenty of prizes and honors.

Streicher-Bremer will get the same royal treatment that only Official Sponsors of the Mallards have enjoyed. Here is the outline of the agreement that he will receive.

Naming rights to "King Quack" - The giant gorilla in center field will now be named "King Quack" presented by JJ for the duration of the agreement.

Category Exclusivity - No one else with the same first name of JJ will be allowed to advertise at the "Duck Pond" in any way, shape or form.

Taco Bell, a proud sponsor of the Mallards will present Streicher-Bremer with one full year of free tacos!

Streicher-Bremer will get to dance on stage with the Flaming Lips at Pondamonium. There are no guarantees that lead singer Wayne Coyne will let him walk on the crowd with him in his bubble.

Streicher-Bremer will get to have Mallards mascot Maynard G. Mallard appear at one special event annually for no additional fee. "King Quack" would have been available for an appearance, but he is not exactly a people gorilla.

Streicher-Bremer will also receive the same items typically offered with this kind of milestone, including:

A first pitch at Saturday nights game

20 Tickets good for any game each season for the duration of the agreement

"King Quack" T-Shirt

The contract with Streicher-Bremer will only be valid until the Mallards 3,000,000th Fan Arrives. At this point all elements of this package will be revoked and Streicher-Bremer will have no special privileges at the "Duck Pond."

"The entire Mallards experience is great," said Streicher-Bremer. "Good food, good beer, good seats, and a fantastic time for kids and adults."

The Mallards play at the Duck Pond Monday, July 16th at 7:05 pm to start a two game series with the Green Bay Bullfrogs. That night will be Water Park Night, Madison Parks Night, and Zimbrick Honda LEGO Millie kits designed by briXwerX Studios.

The Madison Mallards are part of the 16-team Northwoods League. The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other Summer Collegiate League in North America.
