Jets Recall Julian Melchiori from IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled defenceman Julian Melchiori from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
Melchiori, 21, has played in 14 games with the IceCaps so far this season. In that time, he has recorded four assists and 14 penalty minutes. The Richmond Hill, ON native has played in 67 career AHL games, all with St. John's, for 12 career points (1G, 11A) and 53 career penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the third round, 87th overall, in the 2010 NHL Draft.
