Jets Re-Assign Klingberg to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Carl Klingberg to the St. John's IceCaps.

Klingberg, 20, played in six games with the Winnipeg Jets since his recall on Nov. 30/11. During that time he collected four penalty minutes. He started this season in 20 games with the IceCaps collecting 16 points (9g, 7a) and 10 penalty minutes. The Gothenburg, Sweden scored the IceCaps first goal on home ice and started the 2011-12 season with six goals in six games.

Klingberg was originally drafted by Atlanta in the second round, 34th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
