Jets Re-Assign Eric Tangradi to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have re-assigned forward Eric Tangradi to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Tangradi, 25, played in 55 games with the Jets last season producing six points (3G, 3A) and 21 penalty minutes. He was originally acquired by the Jets on Feb. 13/13 from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for a sixth round draft choice in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. In his time with the Jets, Tangradi recorded 10 points (4G, 6A) and 43 penalty minutes over 91 games played.

The Philadelphia, PA native has played in 136 career NHL games between Pittsburgh and Winnipeg for 15 career points (5G, 10A) and 69 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 42nd overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
