The Janesville Jets split their away first round 2012 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Midwest Division playoff games versus the Springfield (IL) Jr. Blues. The Jets lost Friday night, April 13th, 3 - 1, but came back to beat the Jr. Blues 2 - 1 on Saturday night to even the series at two victories each.
Jets forward Lennie Childs scored both goals for the Jets in Saturday's game. Jets goaltender Tony Kujava notched the win.
The deciding Game 5 of the best 3 out of 5 game series will be held back at the Janesville Ice Arena (821 Beloit Avenue) tomorrow, Sunday, April 15th, starting at 5 PM with doors opening at 3:45 PM. * * *Please note that for Game 5 this Sunday in Janesville, the Jets organization will offer very special discounted ticket pricing of only $5 per ticket. *Attendees will be able to buy tickets at the arena starting at 3:45 PM Sunday.
