Jersey Auction During Home Finale Friday

The Lake Monsters will hold their annual "Shirt Off Their Back" Jersey Auction this Friday night during Vermont's final home game of the season against Hudson Valley.

The jerseys to be auctioned off, to benefit the New York-Penn League Charitable Foundation, will be the green batting practice jerseys. It is the first time that Vermont fans will be able to bid on and win a game-worn Lake Monsters jersey.

Fans must be in attendance to take part in the auction, which will begin when the gates open at 5:30 pm and end around the midpoint of that night's 7:05 pm game. The winners will be able to go out onto the field following the game to recieve their jersey from a Vermont player.

Plenty of tickets are available for the Lake Monsters final home game of the season on Friday. They can be purchased in person at the Vermont ticket office in the Champlain Mill, by phone at (802) 655-6611 or 24 hours a day here on the team website (www.vermontlakemonsters.com).
