Jeremie Malouin Heads to Cincinnati

DULUTH, Ga. - Forward Jeremie Malouin was traded on Wednesday to the Cincinnati Cyclones to complete a previous future considerations deal for forward Mike Embach.

Malouin (pronounced MAL-WEH), 21, had a goal and six assists in 30 games with the Gladiators so far this season. The Granby,Quebec native is in his rookie campaign after wrapping up a five-year stintwith three different teams in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Embach was acquired by the Gladiators from the Cyclones for future considerations on November 13th, and had sixgoals and four assists in 11 games with Gwinnett before being moved as part of a five-player trade with the Fort Wayne Komets on December 12th.That move brought defenseman Rob Kwiet, and forwards Bobby Hughes and BrettLyon to Gwinnett.

The Gladiators are members of the ECHL, the nation's premier "AA" hockey league and are affiliated with the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL. All home games are played at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
