Wranglers Blanked 3-0 on New Year's Day

Las Vegas - The Bakersfield Condors won 3-0 over the Las Vegas Wranglers this afternoon, leaving the home team with a 1-1-0 record when playing in Indoor Winter Classic contests.

Wranglers goalie Travis Fullerton and Condors goalie Laurent Brossoit held the first period scoreless as the Condors took a 7-4 shot advantage. On a power play early in the second, Condors center Joel Broda scored to put Bakersfield on the board, and the 1-0 lead was doubled up by Condors right wing Cameron Abney four minutes later.

For the 3-0 win, Broda posted an empty net goal in the final 1:12 of play. In the loss, Fullerton made 22 saves for the Wranglers.

The Ontario Reign come to Las Vegas for two games against the Wranglers on Friday, Jan. 3, and Saturday, Jan. 4. Both games will start at 7:05 p.m.
