On Monday the United States Hockey League announced that Green Bay defenseman Nick Jensen has been named the league's CCM Defensive Player of the Week.

Jensen registered three points (2g, 1a) and a plus-one rating as the Gamblers won two of three games. He tallied a goal in Friday's 5-1 win over Sioux Falls which was his third straight game with a goal. On Sunday, the 19-year-old scored shorthanded and dished out an assist in the 5-3 victory against Youngstown. It is the second USHL season for the native of Rogers, Minnesota. He has recorded 21 points (5g, 16a) and a plus-24 rating in 42 games for the Gamblers, including four goals over his last five games.

The Gamblers welcome the Omaha Lancers to the Resch Center this weekend. Face off for both games are set for 7:05 PM. For more information log onto gamblershockey.com.
