
Stampede Weekly Update: Herd Return Home Thursday Night

Sioux Falls Stampede News Release
After playing five straight games on the road, the Stampede will return home this Thursday, March 4th to face the Chicago Steel at 7:05 PM. The Stampede enter the week with a 25-12-10 record and in third place in the West Division, just four points behind second place Fargo. Chicago swept Tri-City last weekend and are 19-22-5 on the year and in fifth place in the East, nine points behind fourth place Waterloo.
After Thursday, the Herd will hit the road again when they travel to Ann Arbor, MI to face the U.S. Development squad, Saturday and Sunday. The weekend series will be the first of five straight on the road for the Stampede who will play 9 of their last 12 games on the road.

Stampede Magic Number 10
The Stampede's magic number to clinch a berth in the 2010 Clark Cup Playoffs is 10. Any combination of Stampede wins and/or Sioux City losses totaling 10 points will clinch a spot in the playoffs for the Herd! The top four teams in each division qualify for the playoffs.
The Stampede have made the playoffs in each of the last four seasons. The first round of the playoffs begin the week of April 5th.
STAMPEDE BUS TRIP PLANNED FOR MARCH 20TH TO OMAHA
Due to the overwhelming success of the first bus trip to Sioux City last month, the Stampede are once again teaming up with Applebee's for a second trip!
This trip will take place on Saturday, March 20th when the Herd travel to Omaha to take on the Lancers! The bus will depart from the Applebee's Empire East location and will leave early enough to allow fans an opportunity to shop at the "Old Market" near the Civic Auditorium in Omaha. The bus would then take you to the game and leave immediately following the game to go back to Sioux Falls.

B2 Networks Viewing Party March 12th
Next Friday, March 12th is the fourth and final B2 Networks "Stampede Viewing Party" at Buffalo Wild Wings. Watch the Stampede battle the Des Moines Buccaneers starting at 7 PM on all the TV Big Screens.
Fans will also have an opportunity to win special Stampede prizes and tickets throughout the night!

USHL Commissioner Skip Prince to Appear on Inside Stampede Hockey Today
USHL commissioner Skip Prince will be Jim Olander's guest today on Inside Stampede Hockey. Prince will talk about the state of the USHL as well as the future which includes expansion to Muskegon, Michigan and Dubuque, IA.
