
Jeff Harris sold to Seattle

Durham, N.C. -- Quebec starting pitcher Jeff Harris was sold to the Seattle Mariners on Thursday, June 3. Harris will report to Triple-A Tacoma.
Harris was 1-0 with a 0.75 ERA for Les Capitales thus far this season. In 12 innings of work, he allowed one run on nine hits and struck out 12, while walking four.
This was Harris' second year with Quebec after going 9-4 with a 2.51 ERA in 2003. Prior to that, he played two season with Chico of the Western League.
Originally a 28th round draft pick of the Minnesota Twins in 1995, Harris pitched at the Twins' Triple-A affiliate in Salt Lake during 1998 and 1999 seasons.
Harris is the 22nd NEL player to appear on an affiliated roster this season.
