Edmonton Elks News Release

(Edmonton) As the Edmonton Eskimos prepare to take on the BC Lions this Friday they'll take a moment to pat Rashad Jeanty on the back as the 22 year-old has been named the CFL Lineman of the Week after the club's 36-30 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last Saturday.

Jeanty recorded two defensive tackles, one sack and a pass knockdown which was very close to being an interception. Jeanty is currently tied for the league-lead in sacks with six and has now earned Lineman of the Week honours twice, with the first coming in Week 1 after a three-sack performance versus the Ottawa Renegades.

The next Eskimo home game is on Saturday, August 20th at 7:00 pm against the Toronto Argonauts. For more information on the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club please visit our website at www.esks.com.
